This vintage 1970s maxi dress from Alfred Shaheen features a classically-cut bodice with a collared neckline, ornamental pearly buttons, and a darted bust. Its semi-sheer sleeves contain floral cuffs secured with a button on either side. The fitted waist is lined with a hidden hook closure, and comes complete with a matching yellow fabric sash belt. The skirt showcases a striped and geometric pyramid pattern that transitions into a floral pattern near the hem, and is complimented by Shaheen's signature print. The fabric is finished with a subtle sheen, and the dress is lined in light yellow acetate fabric.

CONDITION:
Very good vintage condition. There are some small pulls on the front of the bodice. Also, there are a few snags on the inside waist area which are not seen while wearing (most likely from the previous owner moving the hook loop in different spots outside of it's proper hook). Regardless of these flaws, the piece presents beautifully and has been priced accordingly.

This garment has been cleaned and is ready to wear.
