Vintage 1960s Linen and Lace Wedding Dress with Long Veil | small/medium

This remarkable late vintage 1960s early 1970s wedding dress offers a classic, timeless look. Off-white linen and white scalloped crochet lace adorn the mockneck collar and down the bodice, with a sweetheart neckline beneath. Long bell sleeves, and the same crochet lace on the upper back. Button closure and metal zippers with two hooks at the neckline, and two below. Watteau train style back, and crochet lace trim on the hem. The front is shorter than the back and it's lined with a thin linen slip, with netting behind the lace.

The set comes with a long veil and slip; the veil with three hair combs, and the slip with three layers of acetate/tulle. Hook closure at the back and the slip is believed to be 1950s. All found in a box from 6/6/1971.

CONDITION:
Very good vintage condition. Some of the buttons have discolored with age, either yellowed or a bit darker than the rest. These discolorations are most noticeable in the close up photos and my camera had a hard time picking them up int he fuller shots. There are extra buttons sewn in on the inside of the dress, near the hem, which have caused a few small marks on the outside of the back. There's also a few small dark spots on the back near the hem, which do get lost in the pleating. Also, the cuff of the sleeves aren't flat on the outside hand have a sort of small balloon effect. Please see the last three photos for these flaws. These flaws are mostly noticeable upon close inspection. The lace on the veil has yellowed slightly from age. Also the waistband of the slip has some marks that may come out with a soak (I ran out of picture space, but please message me for more photos). Regardless of these flaws, the piece presents beautifully and has been priced accordingly. This wedding dress has been cleaned, but the slip has not.
