Fantastic vintage 1940s / WWII nurses cape by Bruck's. This cape is made from thick dark navy wool and has a bright red wool lining. Short collar that has O.L.V.H monogramed in dark yellow on the collar (OLVH stands for Our Lady of Victory Hospital). One small hook eye closure at the center of the collar. Two buttons on each side under the collar with two matching wool flaps. One small pocket on the left on the inside, along with a smaller button flap in the thigh area to keep the cape closed. The initials "M.D." is monogramed on the inside under the Bruck's label. The cape is heavy, warm, and weights a little over 3lbs.
