Classic vintage 1950s varsity jacket. This jacket is made is made from forest green wool and has "St. Mary of Sorrows Senior C.Y.C. Baseball Champ 1957" chain stitched in cream on the upper left side. Matching cream trim along the long sleeves and on the pockets. There is chain stitched lettering above the right pocket. Fitted stretchy green and cream ribbed cuffs. Painted white metal snap buttons down the front. The jacket is lined with a shiny orange quilted fabric.

CONDITION:
Very good vintage condition. There are some discolored spots on the chain stitching, and more spots on the cuffs. There are a few scattered moth holes on the wool and a small dark spot here and there. Some of the paint has worn off the buttons. The inside lining has some dark spots throughout. I haven't attempted to clean this piece, so these marks may come out with proper cleaning. Please see photos. Regardless of these issues, the garment presents beautifully, and has been priced accordingly.
