Vintage 1960s Black Sequin Party Dress | xs

Fabulous vintage 1960s black sequin party dress. This dress is covered is shiny black sequins and has a strapless bodice with boning and ruffled trim. Fitted waist and full skirt. Metal zipper up the back. The dress has a black cotton lining and a waist fitting Petersham ribbon belt on the inside with one hook closure. The hem is finished with a horsehair braid to keep the shape of the dress.

CONDITION:
Very good vintage condition. There is a pull on the left side of the bodice. There is also a chemical reaction to the ruffle trim, which has caused the black to turn dark red in most spots. The  waist ribbon on the inside is detached in one section. Most of the sequins are in tact, but a few may be missing here and there, and is only noticeable upon close inspection. There is a thick hem Please see photos. Regardless of these flaws, the piece presents beautifully and has been priced accordingly.
