Gorgeous vintage 1960s black velvet cocktail dress. This dress is made from soft black velvet (most likely a rayon blend), and features a scoop neckline, and semi-sheer black floral velvet burnout billowing long sleeves. The sleeves have a hook and eye closure on each cuff. Cinched waist with belt loops on each side. Above the knee skirt. Zipper with hook closure on the back. The dress is lined with a black acetate fabric.

CONDITION:
Good vintage condition. There are several shiny spots on the velvet throughout the dress. The most noticeable is on the front of the bodice and on the back of the dress just under the zipper. The photos of the close up shiny spots have had the brightness and contrast increased to see the shiny spots better. Please see photos. Regardless of these flaws, the piece presents beautifully and has been priced accordingly.

This garment has been dry cleaned and is ready to wear.
