Vintage 1960s Blue & White Floral Silk Dress | medium

Super cute vintage 1960s blue and white floral dress. The dress is a creamy white and a has an adorable blue and green floral print all over. Folded over collar that is pointed on the back. Sleeveless with a fitted waist with a matching decorative bow. Knee length skirt. The material feels like silk and has slubs in the fabric that look like shantung silk. Metal zipper up the back with hook closure. The fabric of the dress is backed with a white acetate feeling fabric.

CONDITION:
Good vintage condition. The dress has a few small stains throughout including one on the right front of the bodice, one on the side of the waistband, and one on the back seam near the hem. There are a few small tears on the right side near the waist (this is just on the top layer of the silk and doesn't go all the way through the dress). Also, since I believe this is shantung silk, the fabric has uneven horizontal ribs from slubs in the silk yarn, which is most noticeable on the back of the dress near the hem (this isn't a flaw and is normal with this type of fabric, but I wanted to point it out). Please see photos. I haven't attempted to clean this dress or fix any of the flaws. Regardless of these flaw, the piece presents beautifully, and has been priced accordingly.
